Forty-two years is looking back at a lot of different choices, a few not to be repeated but in the final rendition satisfaction at the successes. Rough edges were worn smooth, miss-aimed goals avoided a second time, success repeated with time well spent and welcomed outcomes.
Forty-two years is also enough time to move on while the process is still fresh. 2022 has been a great year and the year before better than the previous. We have grown since our opening day on 08/01/1980 with Automania Imports Parts, evolving to today’s Automania LLC through every avenue of the local automotive industry.
Today Automania LLC represents a model of a successful, fascinating, fulfilling and easily repetitive endeavor, capturing a unique corner of the car and motorcycle on-line world. Consigning motorcycles and cars of interest is the fine point of the learning curve, the pleasures of each person, each motorcycle, each car bringing a new experience.
The time has arrived for someone else to see the magic and rewards of Automania LLC. It can stay as it is or expand with the possibilities beyond one person’s singular vision. If there has been a short coming, it would be my lack of grasp and experience working with electronically distributed venues as part of our digital revolution.
45 years of living in rural Southern Oregon, working with cars, bikes, people, with constant new challenges, has certainly been a better choice than others. What went well was mine and conversely, on the rare occasion it went poorly, mine also to wear. It has provided a full and evolved lifestyle, what one could only hope for. It has been about working for the passion and the reward a living.
