It is always great meeting couples who ride together especially when they have their own motorcycles and approach motorcycling seriously. Being that everyone has a different idea of what a bike should do and how it fits, they normally design the bikes to suit their needs more exactly than others with fewer compromises. They have their bikes the way they want them without having to please a passenger or rider other than themselves.
This 2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU, painted in a Jake and Elwood Blue, was ridden by the husband of this couple who rode together. He was meticulous in his upkeep of the bike and out fitted accordingly for travel and comfort. One of the interesting systems added was the True Track Suspension Stabilizer for the rear rubber mounted suspension from Harley. The engine was treated to a 254 Touring Cam and Dyno Tuner and the bike serviced locally by D&S Harley and previously by Old Road Harley in Santa Clarita, California. A Garmin Zumo GPS is supported by internal wiring along with the fiaring handlebar mounted bracket. A new Rear Tire was recently installed and the bike is ready for a ride out of the Valley to anywhere you want to point it.
What is most striking about both bikes that were brought in for us to sell is there cosmetic and mechanical condition. As the owner is retired and slightly obsessive, they have been over serviced and are remarkably clean. This is the sort of person you want to buy a used motorcycle from!
