This is our first Water Cooled RT but it looks just like the last RT we sold, a 2012 Twin Cam. Well almost, but everything about it seems familiar, the riding position, the Seats and the Saddle Bags. Obviously the big difference is the drive train and the exhaust location, but there in no mistaking the RT heritage.
The particular bike was sold new by Hansen’s BMW as a Low Seat Model and serviced by them on a regular schedule. Just recently it came back to them on a 2018 RT with the new fancy TFT Screen Dash and $23,000 price tag. Hansen’s has just completed a full service to the motorcycle. Included in that service was the complete drive train oil change with crankcase filter, valve adjust, spark plug replacement and front and rear tires. With this service was an inspection of the rest of bike that allows us to offer it for sale with complete confidence. “The blessing of the Fleet” so to speak from having a dealer pre-purchase inspection done.
Cosmetically, the bike is almost without fault. There are a couple of very minor marks in the paint, in fact, if you were just looking at the motorcycle, you would assume it had not traveled more than a few thousand miles.
I was going to make a list of all of the options, but I got this list from the dealer for the bike which is much more accurate and allows a buyer to know exactly what the packages came with the motorcycle. The only option I did not see listed was the low driver’s seat which it does have installed.
