The 2005 Kawasaki Mule 3010 Trans4x4 is the Swiss Army Knife of Side By Side UTV's. Nothing is as flexible or more utilitarian that we know of. This particular machine shows 299.5 hours on the clock, with very few signs of abuse and indoor storage most of its life. The bed barely has any marks in it and the seats are in really good shape.
The 3010 Trans4x4 converts the tilt bed of the UTV from a flatbed into additional seating for 2 more passengers. It is absolutely ingenious how quickly it converts as can be seen in the images. It took me all of 5 minutes to figure out releasing the four pins, folding the rear seat forward and lifting the headache rack into position by myself to double the size of the bed. All of this is backed by a 620cc water cooled Kawasaki V-Twin Gas Engine and CVT Transmission that splits the drive front and rear through a 2 speed transfer case. Not only does it have 2X4, 4X4H, 4X4L and Reverse, the rear axle is lockable from the dash along with the limited slip front axle. One of the coolest things I saw while shooting the images was the air intake built into the roll bar at head level. Kawasaki really went to town designing this rig, the details are amazing. The fuel tank, under the seat, holds 6.4 gallons, good enough for a long day on the trail.
