As part of a larger estate, this 1951 Dodge M37 (G-741) is a three-quarter ton four-wheel drive truck. It was used extensively by the United States armed forces with 115,000 units produced until the end of production in 1968. 1951 was the first year of production, which this truck is. The engine is a flat head 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission and 2 speed transfer case. Just in case it is sounding like I know anything about these trucks, I don’t. What I do know is what I have read and from driving the truck in our parking lot. It fires up, clutch works, gear box works and the brakes work (they are going to need attention from sitting). Also with the truck is the pintle hitch style M105A2 (by looking at the net) trailer, also military grade.
