A recently widowed owner brought her husbands bucket list car in recently. He had always wanted the Maserati Quattroporte and purchased the car 5 years ago for over $30,000. He was able to put about 5,000 miles on it and it was parked when the time came. Recently a choice was made to sell the car and it is now being offered.
The car shows 30,852 miles from new. I drove it about twenty miles and can honestly say I have never driven a nicer car. It is everything it should be, some might even say opulent. The engine sounds beautiful and the F1 Dual Clutch Transmission is as close to driving a manual as can be, minus the clutch pedal.
There are no Maserati shops in Southern Oregon, no one that is familiar with them and we have no mechanical experience with the car. It is beautiful, drives unbelievably and that is the extent of our knowledge. The only part that is astonishing is the selling price. It is Italian, not a Chevrolet or Dodge and I assume that will be the bonus attraction of ownership.
