It is hard to put into words the effect of driving a 2014 Dodge Viper GTS. I guess that could be my best expression of being pressed into the seat back, eyes popping out, OMG, this is locomotive fast and wondering how long it will take me to end up in Jail, no words can describe this experience from a brief drive from Medford to Grants Pass was. There is no way to accurately describe the feeling. But I did love it….
This ‘014 Dodge Viper GTS was delivered September 29, 2014 in Medford, Oregon and has managed to cover 4,127 miles. It is new in appearance, just as delivered with no marks or signs of use. The 8.0 Liter V-10 is rated at 640 HP and runs through a 6-Speed Tremec TR6060 Manual transmission. Nothing has been modified with a single service done on October 29, 2015 at 3,394 miles.
Dodge originally gave the following figures for the car, capable of accelerating to 60 mph in around 3.3 seconds, while top speed was rated at 206 mph. Wow.
It comes equipped with the $3,400 Interior Carbon Fiber Accent Group, the $4,272 Advanced Aerodynamics Package, the Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, the $4,450 Gunmetal GTS Racing Stripe, 18X10.5 and 19X13 Venon-Hyper Wheels, and the Premium SRT High Performance Audio system with 18 Harman Kardon speakers and four subwoofers.
It also comes with two Customer Preferred Packages. 2DA includes-GTS Laguna Interior Package: Sabelt Premium Leather Seats, Alcantara Headline Premium Leather Instrument Panel w/Accent Stitching, Instrument Panel Satin Silver Bezel, Premium Leather - Wrapped Door Trim Panel, Premium Leather - Wrapped Floor Console Pass Grab Handle, Premium Leather w/Contrast Stitch Park Brake Handle, Premium Leather/Contrast Stitch Laguna Leather Shift Knob and SRT Steering w/Premium Stitching.
