The owner of this 2015 BMW X3 xDrive 2.8i decided at age 82 to own one last car as his driving career was coming to a close. He bought a car that he never thought he would own, a BMW SUV, new and loaded with the accessories he wanted without thought to cost or making sense of doing so. He enjoyed the car for two years, putting just short of 31,000 miles on it, mostly local, serviced and maintained at Medford BMW. About three month ago, he bent the left front fender and hood and so at 84, his driving has come to an end and the family is selling the car for him.
I drove the car a bit and was surprised at how many features were offered. To be honest, it was a bit over the top for me, but programming a VCR in the day was a challenge. It has All Wheel Drive, full leather seating, unbelievable AC, tons of electronic features that seem pretty intuitive. BMW offered 50,000 miles of paid service and with 31,000 showing, the balance is available to the new owner.
Repairs were done perfectly and we have images of the repairs. The selling price is reduced to reflect the repairs, but the car is cosmetically and mechanically perfect with no signs of work. An inspection by the dealer is welcomed and recommended, but the car is need of nothing.
