2022 Can-Am Ryker Rally Edition 900
Price: $8,995 USD - SOLD (No Longer Available)
The Can-Am Ryker Rally Edition with the Triple 900cc Rotax engine and adjustable electronic suites is actually fun to ride! Not only can you dismiss the traction control, Can-Am makes no bones about the bike being suitable for gravel roads, in fact they show images of folks sliding them around in the dirt. So what is there not to like? It is different, but it is so much more than just different, it is another type of great motorized fun.
The base Ryker is possibly what everyone expects a 3-Wheeler to be, for those who struggle with kick stands and stop lights. The Rally though can be incredibly entertaining. It does have a CVT Transmission which sounds like a single speed as it accelerates, leaving the left handle bar seemingly naked. The KYB Coil Over Shocks and Springs have adjustment for Pre-Load, the 3 Switchable Electronic Ride Modes (Eco, Sport and Rally) dial up less or more traction control and ABS monitoring along with engine power limits. The only Electronic device that cannot be adjusted is the Stability Control System. When one of the front tires lifts while corning, it will jump in to bring that party to an end. What all of these Ride Modes to is offer something to both a new and beginning riders and someone who might enjoy pushing the envelop at a stop sign or a fire road (not that anyone would recommend that).

He also sent me a note the day after dropping the Can-Am off which gives an insight into his attention to detail and care:
“To remove the hood, turn the quarter turn fasteners to the left to release the hood, lift slightly and pull forward being careful to first reach underneath the hood to unplug the wire providing power to the LED light bar at the front of the hood. Try not to overextend the wire to prevent damage.
The Catch Can helps separate the oil from the vapor that is coming out of the engine crankcase breather to prevent oil residue from building up in the intake. The Catch Can is located below the exhaust manifold on the left side of the engine and can be seen when under the Ryker doing an oil change. The Catch Can has a small ball valve drain at the rear of the can and should be opened and drained when doing the oil change.
After installing the SE Performance Bolt-On Skid Plate I noticed doing an oil change was going to be more difficult and there was no access to the Catch Can drain. I removed the SE Performance Bolt-On Skid Plate and reinstalled the transmission skid plate. Unless you are doing some serious off-road riding there is no need for a heavy-duty skid plate. The SE Performance Bolt-On Skid Plate is included if you want to install it.”
All of this and just 532 miles from new.
