This 1972 Seaswirl is a one owner, bought new in 1972 fishing boat that has been garage kept it’s entire life. When it was picked up, the decking was covered in towels to protect the original factory flooring. The seats are almost perfect with Seaswirl embossed in the two front seats as you can see in the images. There is one corner that has some green tape on it, again as shown in the images. It sits on a Calkins Trailer which appears in good used condition.

The battery was not installed and so a new one was purchased. The stern drive stuck slightly but with a little scrubbing and oil now goes up and down as it should. A few cranks and the engine started immediately. It ran perfectly as you can see in the attached video. The running temperature was at 180 degrees after 30 minutes of idling on a set of Ears.

The canvas was redone at least back in the 90’s by Jerry’s Top Shop here in Grants Pass. It has to be the 90’s as Jerry moved to Highland Ave in the mid nineties before passing in early 2010. I was told Lewis Marine rebuilt the engine within the past 15 years and it is unlikely the engine has seen much use since.

Tires are dated 2012 but have no signs of cracking or other damage. Again the boat has been garage kept. I washed the outside of the boat and added air to the tires along with a new battery before starting it.
