2013 KTM 350 EXC-F
In 2013 Hansen’s BMW of Medford was Hansen’s BMW, Triumph KTM and without exaggerating was one of the most popular Motorcycle Dealerships on the West Coast. Their strong following and recommendations had customers buying multiple bikes at a visit, building on dreams of exploring the West Coast and Eastern Oregon in their moments of free time off. But buying a dream is a lot easier than making it happen and our seller bought three bikes in a four month window that pretty much sat until now being offered for sale.
This 2013 KTM 350 EXC-F was the bike that saw the least amount of use, collecting just 639 miles from new, spending the rest of it’s time sitting in the garage. The bike got some pretty tasty accessories, a KTM Race Exhaust, Seat Concept saddle, Garmin Montana GPS and break away mirrors. It just was taken to Precision Motorrad in Medford, Oregon where a complete service has been completed. A new battery and fuel pump were installed along with full fluid flushes and a complete inspection. The only items not addressed were the stock front and rear tires which have definitely aged out and needing replacement. It has been decided to allow the next owner their own tire choice rather making it for them and adding to the cost.
KTM had set out to design a dirt bike package that had the weight and agility of a 250 with the power characteristics of a 450 resulting with the 350 EXC. For the F model Dual Sport, lights, battery and street legal requirements were met with almost no impact on the basic design goals. The bike is amazing with Fuel Injection and none of the nanny electronics of today’s bikes designed to please emission and liability requirements. At a new cost of $10,000, dry weight was 241 lbs. Word amongst KTM owners is that buying a used 350 EXC-F can be a crap shoot if it has miles on it and has been ridden hard and put away wet. That is not the case with this bike, with just 639 miles from new and just serviced and inspected.
