Once in awhile I present a motorcycle that has a story bigger then just the year and miles showing on the odometer. The owner of this particular bike encompassed the word “motorcyclist” as you see defined in the dictionary. When medical berms finally brought his riding career to an end last year it took another twelve months of introspection and acceptance before his bikes were brought to the shop.

This 2021 BMW R18 Classic 1st Edition was the last motorcycle delivered by Hansen’s BMW of Medford on 4/21/2021 before they surrendered their franchise agreement to BMW. In fact it was ordered two days after the Talent Fire destroyed the shop and the buyer kept his word about taking delivery almost a year later to support Hansen's BMW. The motorcycle was ordered with every Black accessory part in the BMW factory Catalog including the rims and paint scheme. You will most likely not find another like it. A set of Vance and Hines Black pipes were ordered but V&H decide against putting them into production. You will also notice the pin strip delete on the tank as part of the black out package.

BMW offered a gift package for the first year buyers of the R18 and this unmolested kit is included with the motorcycle as can be seen in the images. The stock two person one piece saddle is included with along with another BMW two piece saddle. The solo saddle in the images is also a BMW accessory designed for the single rider.

A total of 1,558 miles were added to bike. It had its first service done by Hansen’s and has been in the garage the past year not being ridden. It appears to be in new cosmetic condition and now the selling price, under $11,000 is 50% less than a new bike. We should get hold of Musk!!!!
