2013 BMW S1000RR
Price: $9,995 USD - SOLD (No Longer Available)
There is not a Track Day Junkie or Street Sportbike Rider who has not wanted to own and ride a BMW S1000RR. That is a fact. It is the most powerful Sportbike built stock, electronically one of the most sophisticated machines sold today. I spoke with San Jose BMW awhile back and they told me it was a regular occurrence for S1000’s to make 193hp at the rear wheel on their Dyno time after time in stock condition. When the bikes were first introduced in 2010, no one was buying the bike for invoice, most dealers were getting a hefty premium for the limited number of bikes being shipped from BMW. It was and today still is the bike to own.
This 2013 S1000RR was bought by a local older rider who envisioned doing limited track days, even sport riding on the street. He never had time to make to the track due to work and when he finally retired about two years ago he had lost the steam to for the adventure. It was kept fanatically clean and serviced by Dave Mahue while at Hansen’s BMW and now at his shop, Precision Motorad in Medford, Oregon. New tires were installed, but while being unloaded at home, the bike tipped over breaking the right side front faring and rear cowl (as can be seen in the images). The stock muffler took a minor hit but a replacement stock can is supposed to come with the bike.
Crazy right? All the possible riding encounters that could have happened and it tips over coming out of a trailer. But the bike has a set of beautiful set of Billet Levers and Rear Sets from LighTech and Billet Guards from Vortex as you can also see in the images. There are also Spools on the rear swing arm. All nicely done but not over the top.
Well this last event killed what ever excitement of owning and riding the bike had. It was brought down to the shop to be sold with the cosmetic damage unrepaired. The clutch side frame slider has a couple of marks on it, again probably from not being tied down properly while being transported.
The selling price is $9,995 and miles are 11,478. The VIN# is WB1053400DZL17255. For other interesting bikes and collectable vehicles, visit our web site http://www.automaniagp.com 541 479 8888 or come by and see us at 895 SE Gladiola Drive, Grants Pass, Oregon, 97526. Oregon Dealer DA1287.
