For a person who started out only wanting to consign motorcycles 20 years ago, the path has led to many unexpected vehicles, even boats.
We had a motorcycle on consignment and an out of state buyer wanted to trade his Weekender. His kids had out grown the weekends of boating, wake boarding and general camping and the boat had not been taken out once until about three weeks ago for a final voyage on the Columbia.
Upon inspection the 215 was in remarkably great cosmetic condition and talking with the owner, had been carefully mechanically taken care over the past years. As you can see, he even added an adapter to run two crankcase oil filters to avoid having to lean under the motor to change it out. With the boat came everything that boat people buy, bumpers, rope, life jackets, all the stuff that normally would go from one boat to the next. No, there are no skis, wake boards, fishing poles or tubes but it would seem everything else, even toilet paper for the porta-potty.
The Weekender 215 by Sea Ray is 22 foot cuddy cabin fresh water boat powered by a 5.0 Mercruiser V8 with Stern Drive. It came from Sea Ray with Hydraulic Trim Pads, a Porta Pottie in a curtained off area in the cabin. Convenient extras include a convertible dinette sleeper sofa, insulated built-in ice chest and a lockable cabin door with easy-access integral steps.
