I finally was getting a lid on my good buddy Dave, he brings along his best friend from Grants Pass High School, Greg, also sharing the same calamity as Dave. Too much stuff, spent way too much money making a great “what ever” better and not enough room in the shop. Except Greg bought stuff that lots of folks are going to want, not a “never heard of” camper or aging hot rod project. Greg is my new hero. I can’t wait to get them both on video talking about a car, bike or detention.

Ever since I rode a Super-Motarded Suzuki 450 dirt bike at Sears Point 20 odd years ago I have understood how much fun these bikes can be on a tight course or secondary roads. The problem I have is carrying way, way too much bulk (weight) that killed the motor on the straights and crushed it’s over worked suspension on the brakes. A preverbal monkey on a football.

But Greg was not one to leave good enough along. He added a Dyno-Jet Power Commander, a K&N Filter, did the California Smog Delete Kit along with a Yoshimura Exhaust System. He added trick Mirrors and a Pro Taper Handle Bar but kept all of the stock parts which are now included with the bike. Like Dave, he put almost no miles on it before a change of heart
