My buddy Jay and I have been riding together since 1975 and it is fair to say I have noticed his hyper-focus on motorcycles that caused a great deal of entertainment. This week he brought two bikes in, one of which is a 2020 Suzuki DRZ400S with 145 miles on it from new. It reminded me of years past.
During the Pandemic, Jay became glued to his computer listening to every Dual Sport Guru and Backwoods Entrepreneur pedaling expert advice on the correct motorcycle to buy and what issues the factories had built into them. He needed a motorcycle for himself and it was the Suzuki DRZ400S. The end of the world was coming and they needed to be ready to head for the hills. He headed to Reno, Nevada and bought two new motorcycles.
Jay went full bore and making the DRZ the perfect bike. The list below is some of the after market upgrades and accessories he purchased for the bike before he even took delivery. All of the stock parts were kept, including the tank that ended up with damage to the paint from spilt fuel.

Well, the pandemic was finally over, the world did not come to an end and the motorcycles hardly left the garage. It ended up with almost no miles, just 145 on on the Suzuki.
