2003 Suzuki Vinson 500 LT-F500FK

This 2003 Suzuki Vinson 500 LT-F500FK was sold new at Grants Pass Suzuki to my in-laws back in the day. Bob, the father- in- law, was sort of an impulse buyer and over the years came home with a new something every six months that was soon traded from some newer or different. They lived on six acres here in town and Bob had the Quad to have for all of his out door adventures which turned out to be seriously over estimated. He hardly drove it and it sat in the shop for years accumulating 362 miles from new until he passed in 2011.
It was decided that now is a good time to sell the Vision and we installed a new battery but the fuel had gone bad and taken the carburetor and fuel petcock with it. A local ATV shop rebuilt carb, replaced the fuel petcock and changed the crankcase oil and filter. It fired up instantly. After being dropped off, I have ridden it around the parking lot and everything is working normally.
It has the “Automatic/Manual” Transmission where Park, Neutral and Reverse are controlled by the Automatic Transmission. Forward gears are selected by foot lever and has 4 gears. There is also a High/Low Range lever next to the pull start.
