2000 Malaguti F-15 Phantom Fogarty #1 Ducati Pit Bike

A Ducati fanatic customer brought two Italian made Malaguti 50cc Phantom Signature scooters by which he had been keeping for years. They were produced and promoted by Ducati as official pit bikes and heavily modified in the day. As it turns out, they are also extremely rare.
This particular bike is the Carl Fogarty F-15. It is supposed to be the 301st of 500 produced and in existence. Only 25 in are reported to be in the US. It was built as a special with a Euro Spec Minarelli 2-stroke motor. Reports, found on the internet, has a pipe that is designed for upper end power. Translation, it is slow out of the hole but once on the pipe really comes on (if that can be said of any 50cc motorcycle). Again, it was intended as a Ducati race team pit bike built in numbers that Ducati fans could own as a rare Ducati accessory.
