2020 Honda CB500X
Many moons ago I sold a bike to a couple from New Zealand who toured the US and then shipped the bike home. A better idea developed for the following trips of buying motorcycles here in the States, doing the tour and then dropping them off to be sold by yours truly here in Grants Pass.
For this third tour, three friends from NZ decided to buy used dual sports and do the Continental Divide Ride, from the Mexican Border to Canada on dirt roads using gpsKevin Adventure Rides. They all three found bikes in different parts of the Southwest and met up at the border in New Mexico for the start up of the adventure. All three bikes were mechanically fine for the entire trip other than two flat tires and a couple of tip over’s and were driven to the shop at the end of their adventure.
Which where this 2020 Honda CB500 X starts and ends. The bike was loaded with after market parts prior to being purchased. There is a T-Rex Racing Skid Plate and Center Stand, Pro Taper Handle Bars, Scorpion Exhaust, Ping Adjustable Foot Pegs, Sargent Revolution Saddle, Oxford Heated Grips, Ajays Soft Luggage and a TracTive Rear Shock.
About 2,000 miles were added to the bike and the tires are pretty much worn out as you can see in the images. IT NEEDS TIRES. Oil is fresh and the bike is ready to continue riding where ever you need to go. It has out of State Plates so Oregon is going to want about $250 for title, plate and tags.
