It is sometimes hard to get excited by a conversation that starts with “My 1999 Harley….” Let’s be honest, bells and whistles do not go off with flares at the imagined motorcycle that passes before us. The Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG came with the 1450cc Twin Cam 88 and 5-Speed transmission. FXDWG were known for their lower center of gravity and Forward Foot Controls complimented by a Front 21” Wire Wheel. It handled so much better than other bikes in the range because making it a favorite with riders. The FXDWG is a motorcycle under stressed with long legs and a long service life built in.
