2017 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler FLRT
Price: $19,995 USD - PREVIOUSLY SOLD
While the Tri Glide was a hit (Tri Glide Ultra Classic), the Freewheeler (FLRT) was designed to be easier to ride with less mass for a newer rider to operate. To that end, a great deal of effort was directed towards making the Trike easier to steer. The Tri Glide was 3 inches shorter with a lower seat which allowed an overall lower center of gravity. Along with 12 inch Mini-Ape Hanger Bars, steering effort over the Tri Glide was reduced dramatically.
The 1750cc Milwaukee 8 Engine and reduced weight over the Tri Glide gave the bike plenty of power with and less mass to slow down with the brakes. Additionally, the styling was directed towards making it “more like a cruiser and less like a Trike. The Seat was moved forward slightly and the trunk made large enough to hold two Helmets.
Our bike, in Black Quartz, is a two owner motorcycle with both previous owners spending silly money on accessories, most recently at S&D Custom Cycle here in town. The first owner “Had everything he could Chromed”. He added a Stage 1 Air Filter, Rinehart Exhaust, Back Rests, Harley Chrome Rear Bumper and Luggage Rack, LED Turn Signals in Front and Rear along with Chrome LED Mirrors.
The bike was sold with 2,890 miles to our cosigner who took it to S&D for a 5,000 mile service and inspection (see our website for scanned copies) Steve also added a Chrome Engine Guard, Streamliner Pegs and Progressive Shocks in the rear for a total invoice complete in May of this year totaling $2,088.
