I went back on line to look at reviews of the 2005 Harley Sportster 1200 Roadster and found a universal opinion about the bike, that it was the best handling, best stopping Harley owners had ever ridden. Another thing was the rubber mounted engine, that it reduced the vibration from those huge pistons going up and down in the Harley drone. Others remarked that the addition of a better rear seat, longer distance rides with passengers was not a problem. It would seem that Harley had been listening to their riders and that for the entry model for Harley Davidson, they provided a competent motorcycle that was relatively inexpensive to purchase and easy to keep running. And it looks great!

With just 5,757 miles from new, this bike is ready to go for the seasons ahead. The look of the paint, tank and castings on the motor are great. The bike has a really nice look and stance about it. The rear sissy bar has quick disconnect levers on it and can be removed in less then a minute with no tools.
