Taking a look over at this one owner 2002 Harley Davidson Road King Classic brought back memories of being over at D&S in Phoenix, Oregon. Seeing the line of buyers waiting patiently for the salesman to take their money as a deposit for a motorcycle six months out for delivery was like today’s real estate market, mind boggling. And that is when the bike was purchased and yes, from D&S. I imagine Harley Dealers really miss those days…
As is the norm with Harley owners, stock was not to be. Ghost Flames were added and they are as subtle as I have ever seen. The bike is what I would normally call a convertible, everything has quick releases that unfasten, including the windscreen and bags. There is a luggage rack with a back rest that uses the same Harley quick releases as can be seen in the images. The Mufflers are accessory style, I am afraid I did not find the brand on them. Stock mufflers are included with the bike in case noise is an issue to the next owner or you need paper wieghts. There is a box of spare oil filters, air filters and miscellaneous parts that will keep you away from the dealer for at least a little while.
