When a fifteen year old bike comes in with 5,641 miles on the clock and looking in showroom condition, we always wonder how it could have occurred. In this case, this 2004 Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle CVO Softail Deuce 2 FXSTDSE2 was part of a pair that a collector bought back in the day when you could do no wrong buying a new Harley. Times got hard a few years later and one of the bikes was let go to another collector in Klamath Falls who keep it for another ten years, adding the few miles. During a business transaction, the bike was traded to a non-riding party who kept the bike as collateral. Four years later, it was decided that it should finally be sold.

First thing to happen was the bike was delivered to Redwood Cycle here in Grants Pass to be serviced and made safe to operate. New tires and a battery were installed along with a fluid swap and filter. The bike was test ridden and found it’s way to our shop to be sold. We have a good, clear and clean Oregon title for the bike and it is ready to be finally ridden.

The Softail Deuce line was produced from 1999 through 2005 and has only recently been reintroduced by Harley due to demand from customers. The Deuce had a stretched fuel tank, chrome fork sliders, pull back bars which separated it from the standard Softails. On top of that, Harley did a limited run of CVO versions, 2,230 to be exact, that included this long list of additional standard features:
