Starting out at $32,000 in 2009 dollars without the Travel Pac, this 2009 Harley-Davidson FLTRSE3 CVO Road Glide was top of the food chain for Harley that year. The Custom Vehicle Operations Road Glide was a Bagger with all of the mechanical components of the CVO and cosmetic upgrades including the Lowered Front Fender, Skirted Saddlebags and Special to this model only paint schemes.

The motor was the Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110, at the time, the largest engine offered by Harley up to that point. Fuel Injection was standard for the 110 cubic V-Twin as was the hydraulic clutch and powder coated valve covers. Also standard was the Screamin’ Eagle Air Cleaner with exposed filter element and the custom Oil Cooler embossed with the CVO logo. Chrome accessories were not spared and the Vance and Hines Exhaust system is custom designed to fit the bags. Have you ever seen larger muffler outlets?

Our particular bike is one of the most pampered motorcycles to cross our shop floor I can remember. It is spotless, just as it was when I trailer it back to the shop, not needing a dusting or cleaning of any sort. All of the recent service work has been completed by one of the best independent shops in the Southern Oregon, Steve Hodge’s S&D, including the 10,000 mile service completed (see the scanned invoice). The bike needs nothing more then further pampered care and fuel.
