The basic model of Harley-Davidson is the Sportster Line of bikes, the 883 barely making it under the wire to be considered one. The 1200 model has enough motor to move it along respectfully and will keep a rider satisfied as his time and miles add up. The base XL1200C Sportster Custom came with a heavier duty front end with 16” Wheel and Tire, Fuel Injected motor, 5-Speed Transmission and Factory Custom Paint. The Custom was intended to be the easel you could paint on from the Harley Accessory Catalog.

Our bike got the Gun Fighter Saddle from Harley but then picked parts from different companies, Cobra Exhaust Systems, Barnett Kevlar Clutch, Fuel Injector Programmer and suspension upgrades, front and rear. In back, Bitubo fully adjustable shocks and springs replaced the stock items. Up front Progressive Suspension’s Fork Cartridge Kits were installed. All of the service work since 1,800 miles has been completed at S&D Custom Cycle in Grants Pass and service invoices are included with the bike. Also, the stock parts were kept and will accompany the Sportster to its new owner as can be seen in the images.
