What does it take to build a custom bike? An open wallet seems a great start. This 2007 Harley Road King was bought in 2012 with very low miles on it on taken right away to S&D Custom Cycle for a multi-year custom build. Over a period of six years, almost $23,000 was spent at S&D building what you see here in the images. Paint was a separate deal, taking over two years to complete. The completed package is so far from what Harley delivered new you would never know the this custom Bagger was related to the stock bike that rolled out of the dealer’s showroom.

The paint job is “jaw dropping” in design and execution, done by a local custom painter known for his incredible eye for detail and artistic ability but also for completing work at his own pace. Custom work never is on schedule or budget!

I attached some of the invoices that came with the bike when it was dropped off. Made my eyes water, WOW! Please go over them for the exact build and parts that were added, it would be impossible for me to adequately describe what you see. It is time for the bike to be sold, it is not being ridden any more, just collecting dust in his shop. You will never see another like it or a more striking bike here in the valley.
