2013 Can-Am Spyder ST Limited for sale

2013 Can-Am Spyder ST Limited
Grants Pass, Oregon 97526
Price: $17,800 USD - PREVIOUSLY SOLD

Mileage: 359 U.S. miles
Can-Am Spyders are intended for riders who want the motorcycle experience without the perceived inherent dangers presented by balancing on two wheels. They are designed to haul luggage and passengers that would normally crush the average touring bike. This particular ST Limited bike is 5 months old with just 359 miles showing from new. It was bought for the wife of dye in the wool motorcyclist who wanted her to join him on the open road. After a couple of short rides, the wife decided she still prefers riding in a car and bike needs a new home. It is still under warranty and appears as new.

According to Can-Am, the ST (Sport Touring) model differs from the RS and RT in providing “ample storage and wind protection with the ergonomics to handle tight corners and long rides.” The Limited adds a Bluetooth-capable Garmin navigation system, upscale chrome accents, heated grips and added storage. It’s also fitted with an AM/FM radio with iPod cable, 12V outlet, front cargo liner, embroidered ST Limited seat and chromed 12-spoke, 15-inch front rims. Removable Givi Monokey saddlebags on easily removed brackets (attached to the frame via quarter-turn fasteners) with color-matched panels give the ST Limited 29.5 gallons of storage capacity.

I have wanted to ride a Spyder since they first came out. After a short ride to Rogue River and back, I was blown away by the brakes. Even after driving the Lamborghini Superleggera several years ago, this Spyder stops better then anything I have ever driven. I am pretty sure it peeled the asphalt up. It does steer differently then anything I have ever ridden, more car-like than motorcycle-like. If shown respect, it is predictable and great to ride.

The selling price is $17,800, quite a discount from the price out the door of $21,500 new with just a couple of miles. See at Automania, 895 SE Gladiola Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97526. http://www.automaniagp.com 541 479 8888 Oregon Dealer DA1287.
