2014 Triumph 675 Street Triple R

The 2014 Street Triple 675R was upgraded from the base 675 with adjustable front Forks, a 10mm longer three-way adjustable Piggyback-reservoir Shock and 4 Piston Radial Mounted ABS brakes. Steering, handling and brakes were a major overhaul over the previous year’s R and non-R models. It was intended to give an owner a good track day mount by including the handling upgrades and a Lap Timer built into the Dash Menu.
At 382#’s dry, the bike’s rated 106 HP and low reciprocation drivetrain mass make for more fun than a barrel of Monkeys. This is a Hooligan’s bike and what a great street ride. The weight is not in the wrists, you can manage your weight through your feet. The upright sitting position will make for a longer day in the saddle then one with most of your weight being pushed into the handle bars.
If I ever want to leave my bike for storage and get it back better than when I dropped it, this is the motorcycle owner I would choose to leave it with. There are a couple of minor highlights that were added to the bike that really add to it’s presence. The first is the Sargent Saddle which much more comfortable than the stock unit. Some subtle bling, Billet Mirrors, Levers, Gas Cap Front Master Brake Reservoir and a Rear Master Reservoir, all custom and beautiful. All of the stock parts were kept and come with the bike. Tires have about 1,000 miles on them.
