This Rocket TFC was a complete new design for 2019 with 180hp coming from a brand new 2500cc Triple, making it the most powerful Triumph ever produced and almost 100 pounds less than the bike it replaced.
Enter the Limited Edition version of this bike, the TFC of which only 750 were produced, 255 coming to these shores, ours is #749. The model sold out quickly with a few held by dealers hoping to get a fat premium, few ending up on the used market for sale.
The Rocket 3 TFC engine features “state-of-the-art” components such as lightweight titanium inlet valves, which allow for even higher revving than the previous Rocket, and features including the unique Arrow silencers with carbon fiber end-caps. It has was equipped with Brembo Stylema calipers, an adjustable 47mm Showa fork, and a fully adjustable Showa shock with a piggyback reservoir. The premium specification continues with a Brembo radial master cylinder and MCS span, ratio-adjustable brake lever, and matching clutch lever.
The electronic package included:
• Cornering ABS
• Traction control
• Four riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport and Rider-Configurable)
• Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts
• Hill Hold Control to prevent the bike from rolling backward when stopped on an incline.
Our seller special ordered the motorcycle and had it shipped from a Texas dealer, the only one with one stock. As soon as it was delivered work took over and the bike was never ridden, collecting just 103 from new. It was recently at the Triumph dealer for a factory recall and now it is ready to be finally broken in by the new owner.
