2022 Triumph ROCKET 3 GT 221

This 2022 Rocket 3 GT 221 was based on a complete new design beginning with the 2019 model, with 167hp coming from a brand new 2500cc Triple making it the most powerful Triumph ever produced and almost 100 pounds less than the previous bike it replaced.
Enter the 221 version of the bike, a one year only Special Edition offered by the Triumph Factory with it’s paint scheme and trim. The model sold well with a few held by dealers hoping to get a fat premium, a very few now ending up on the used market.
The Rocket 3 TFC engine features “state-of-the-art” components such as lightweight titanium inlet valves, which allow for even higher revving than the previous Rocket, and features including the unique Arrow silencers with carbon fiber end-caps. It has was equipped with Brembo Stylema calipers, an adjustable 47mm Showa fork, and a fully adjustable Showa shock with a piggyback reservoir. The premium specification continues with a Brembo radial master cylinder and MCS span, ratio-adjustable brake lever, and matching clutch lever.
The electronic package included:
• Cornering ABS
• Traction control
• Four riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport and Rider-Configurable)
• Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts
• Hill Hold Control to prevent the bike from rolling backward when stopped on an incline.
Our consigner purchased the bike with the intent of doing some shorter over-night tours and shortly there after realized he really wanted a Honda Gold Wing. It happened that we had 2018 on consignment that fit his needs perfectly and not having room for two bikes, brought his almost new Triumph in for us to sell.
