2015 Yamaha FJ-09 Supersport Touring

This 2015 Yamaha came in from a seller who ran into medical issues bringing about a thinning of the “herd”. The bike has been outfitted with tons of aftermarket parts but shows just fewer than 2,700 miles from new.
Standards and Adventure bikes are the most popular bikes we sell, the world woke up to agony of living a daily life with a track focused Sportbike. Sportbikes are the ultimate weapon, so tightly focused on their intended environment that day to day riding on the street can be exhausting. Besides, a good rider on a Standard can comfortably out ride a less experienced rider on a Sportbike in most situations. Posing only goes so far.
And then there is money part of the equation, Standards are usually a bargain compared to the latest and baddest hyper Sportbike.
The FZ-09 comes with 847cc Triple, Crossplane crank, putting out 115hp with just over 400 pounds to pull around. There are electronically controlled ride modes, ABS Brakes, Fuel Injection, all standard. Pretty normal stuff but Yamaha designed the fun into the package which you see the first time you look over the bars. Nothing but dash and Windscreen. No extra weight on the front end, no change to the center of gravity keeping it low and easy to change direction. Simple. Then there is the engine sound, worth the price of admission even with the stock exhaust in place.
The motorcycle just had the oil changed and a brand new rear tire mounted. The previous owner was a rear brake person, never using the front two rotors to slow the bike down. Tough on rear tire wear which was 50% but still flat spotted in the middle. There are no cosmetic issues, the bike is almost as new as the day it was delivered. It starts instantly and runs as expected.
There are lots of accessories, the Corbin Seat, Fender Eliminator Kit, Tail Trunk, Frame Sliders and extra filters for the next service. All of the stock items are included with the bike and can be seen in the images.
