The Yamaha V Star 1100 line goes back to 1999 and by 2006, the year of our bike, minor updates had worked what few bugs there were in the layout. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that would detract from the reliability of Japanese Cruisers, they seem to just need fuel and tires every so often. One of the great things about the Yamaha Cruisers was the low seat height and a layout that was comfortable for shorter inseams.

Our bike has a couple of tasteful accessories, both factory and aftermarket. The bike was equipped with Leather covered Saddle Bags and Floor Boards for the driver. The owner added a set of baffled Vance and Hines Mufflers and a Rear Bag that attaches to the back rest of the bike. There is also a Mustang Seat (not shown in the images) that comes with the bike. The owner also modified the foot controls to extend them a bit for his longer legs. It can be brought back to the stock setting by removing a couple of parts. Tires are within the past 1,000 miles and the bike starts and runs great.
