The 2007 Vespa GTV 250ie Limited Edition by Piaggio was built as an anniversary edition Model for 60 years of successful Vespa history. There were 999 built for world wide delivery and 250 of these were imported into the US, a rare Edition of a very desirable model.
Taking from the Internet, “It is powered by a 4-Stroke, 244cc, Liquid cooled, SOHC, Single-Cylinder engine with Electric starter. The engine is paired with a Continuously Variable (CVT) transmission and total fuel capacity is 2.4 gallons. The GTV 250ie rides on a 120/70 R12 front tire and a 130/70 R12 rear tire. The front suspension is a Single Arm while the rear suspension is a Twin Sided Swing Arm. Front Disc brakes and rear Disc brakes provide for the stopping power. The GT60 Limited Edition comes standard with Two-Piece, 2-passenger seating”.
The bikes were painted Avio Gray to reflect the original color all Vespas were in the beginning. As you can see in the images, the fit and finish of the Scooter is only as Europeans have been able to do in past years, wonderful. There are 8,502 miles on the odometer. It has plenty of under seat storage and room behind the front opening panel under the handle bars.
