2016 Forest River RV 1609 Real-lite Truck Camper

This 2016 Forest River 1609 Real-Lite Palomino, Self-Contained, Pop-Top, Slide in Camper has been used five times since being bought new. It is in great cosmetic condition and was delivered to our shop in the back of a Toyota Tundra Pickup (in my mind too small a truck for the unit). The selling dealer delivered the camper specifically stating that the Toyota was designed for the weight. In my opinion it is too much mass behind the rear axle to handle safely.
Obviously, the greatest feature of this unit is the electrically powered raised and lowered roof. Push a button and the whole top lifts, making it a normal sized camper inside. When traveling, a push of the button and the top lowers, saving on fuel mileage and lowering the center of gravity, two huge pluses when driving.
On top of all of that, the camper is completely self-contained. It has toilet equipped with a black water tank, Propane that operates the Hot Water Heater, Forced Air Heating and Cook Top Stove. There is also a Refrigerator and Sink plus an out door Shower. It can be parked in at a campground and make use of Full Hookups including water, power and Sewer.
