It is the latest incarnation of the Water Cooled engine that debuted in 2012, now with Variable Cam timing and increased displacement to meet emissions while providing better power.

This 2019 GS Low Suspension model was factory designed to allow all of the flexibility of the GS to owners who needed that off road capacity without the standard seat height of the GS. This was not just done by swapping out the front and rear shocks, it included a specific center and side stand and correct steering geometry that some aftermarket spring systems do not match. Factory designed! And when you are riding a full size adventure bike, that factory designed stability is a plus.
