This is the first F750GS Low Suspension (LS) to come through the shop. The first thing to acknowledge is the F750 has an 853cc engine not a 750, which is BMW marketing speak. The GS version of the line was designed to be a 10/90 mount, aimed at 10% off-road and 90% paved roads. It has a 17 inch front wheel that will wear dual sport tires of your choosing but it was intended more for street riding than single track trails.

As with other BMW models, the F750 comes with a complete package of electronic gadgets starting with different performance riding modes including Rain, Road and Dynamic and Dynamic Pro. In the braking department ABS is standard fare but now added is Cornering ABS for those of us who tend to enter corners with a little too much enthusiasm. There is also DTC Traction Control and Cruise Control. I don’t think they missed anything.

Our one owner bike has gained 16,132 miles from new, doing a cross country trip last year. The owner is very height challenged and found the stock seat on the LS still to high so he had some foam taken out. Turns out it was a mistake, his bum could not take it so he bought an Airhawk Seat cover which is now a bit higher than the original seating position. The bike was also equipped with BMW’s Navigator VI. He also added Givi Bags, aftermarket mirrors, larger foot pegs and a taller windscreen (the stock parts come with the bike).
