This 1976 BMW R90/6 has been sitting for an extended time. So how does a non running bike arrive at Automania LLC to be sold? My compulsive motorcycle buddy Mikey bought it in January after falling in love with the possibilities. Thinking he was going to be a hero and make the bike run and drive again he rolled it into the shop and there it has sat while work and life filled the days and nights he thought he would have to work on it. Sitting has not done the bike any favors and with that comes inevitable issues. The Front Brake M/C is not working, the original paint is in good enough order to be left as is with a good coat of polish. Tires are aged and worn. It would be safe to assume it needs a full fluid swap. There are missing trim pieces you can see in the images but the original seat is amazing. The bike starts and runs, but the ignition switch does not work and you have to disconnect the battery each time. The Faring Cock Pit Gauges do not operate when the bike is running and the front turn signals do not flash. Because of the front brake I choose not to ride it. Washington title so if it stays in Oregon it will need title, plates and tags.
