This 2002 BMW R1150RT is not only a great bike, it has been equipped with Ohlin’s shock absorbers front and rear. It has been oil changed by the owner recently and tires look to have at least 75% of their life showing. With 19,115 miles on the clock, it is “Just broken in” as Craig Hansen likes to say. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition with a few marks on the front fender and right side body panel from being ridden.

In my “limited” riding experience, the RT’s are the best Sport Touring bike built today. I have ridden my R1200RT’s (I know there is a slight difference) at the track and it does the job even there. In terms of rider and passenger comfort and ease of travel, the RT’s hold the right amount of luggage (no, it will not haul your Ironing Board honey) while allowing either extended Interstate travel or Secondary Road pleasure with very little sacrifice in weather protection or road handling. I know there are fans of other bikes, but this is the right bike for me and a lot of other folks.
