IIt had to happen sooner than later, that we would get a H20 cooled 2014 R1200GS in for sale. Finally!!!
Entire magazines are devoted to the wonders of the water cooled bikes, more power, betters shifting, better electronics, better handling, all of the benefits of a complete redesign the R1200GS line of bikes after the twin cam version built to 2013. I cannot compete with their knowledge and if you are looking at this bike, you are probably more aware of why it will make such a great motorcycle. What I did notice right away is that the bike is equipped with Cruise Control, a feature not offered on the Oil Head GS’s. After all of these years I have learned to appreciate having it despite my previous reservations and fear of running full tilt into something when wanting just the opposite. A few times of use and you get use to using it. It is very helpful when on long stretches of straight roads and freeways.
A couple of accessories were added including the factory BMW Garmin GPS and Mount. The bike, sold at Hansen’s BMW, was serviced regularly by Hansen’s with oil changes handled by the owner at slightly sooner then recommend internals. He has provided work sheets of when and what he serviced with mileage and dates. The front and rear tire are brand new, not a mile on them. The bike is spotless with no cosmetic marks that we could find top to bottom, another sign of the attention it has been given since delivery when new.
