Start with a large one”. As an avid track day fan, our customer has been through a range of sport bikes going back twenty years. When purchasing this specific motorcycle and equipping it with the guidance of EDR Performance in Beaverton, Oregon, there was no budget limit, just the best of the best and for performance enhancement only. And now why the sale? Having passed that magic life marker of sixty plus ten, the knees are giving out and riding a sport bike has become a most difficult and potentially dangerous event. The epiphany was a day at Thunderhill while sitting in the pits, not moving, when he was brushed by another rider going past. His balance was lost and the bike tipped over on it’s right side causing minor cosmetic damage. It was a very inexpensive calling card to a changing horizon, to moving on and away from motorcycles, a horrendous realization after so many decades of enticement and passion.

European Motor Cycles of Eugene installed the Alpha Racing 2D Front Suspension Senor which connected to the HP DDC and automatically synced. . They also installed the HP4 Power Kit Mid-Pipe, a Fast Throttle Kit, a Front Axle Slider Kit, Crankcase Cover and Woodcraft Blue Case Slider shortly after.

From there it went to EDR Performance where a 17t front sprocket, a 44t rear sprocket and a 520 DID chain were installed along with Lighttech Chain Adjusters w/lifter. A Regulus Racing Solution Shifter was installed, set up for “GP” style gear changes, 1 down, Neutral and the rest up as compared the standard street pattern. A Rizoma Master Brake Reservoir and bracket were also installed. At 3,255 miles, a major service was completed including a valve adjust, Denso Plugs, BMC Replacement Air Filter and a complete oil and filter change. While the bike was in the shop, EDR serviced the front forks, oils and fork seals. Water Wetter replaced the stock coolant and a 2010 S1000RR Master Brake assembly installed.
