The first thing I saw when we picked up this 2013 F700GS LS (Low Suspension) with the factory low seat was how incredibly low the rider’s seat was. It was “Cruiser” low! So here is BMW’s GS version of the 700 with a seat so close to the ground, anyone can ride off road and still flat foot it. BMW says it has a seat height of 29.9 inches. Wow!

The F700 uses the F800’s engine but tuned to a different type of rider, one that may or may not have the rider experience and is looking for a less intimidating power delivery. It is still delivered with a lot of bottom end grunt and the ability to travel in normal traffic situations and for long distance tours, not limiting the rider mechanically.

BMW did not skimp on their renown standard factory accessories. The bike came stock with ABS Brakes and Heated Grips along with their on board Factory Info Screen. The owner of the bike then had it upgraded with the Factory BMW Traction Control upgrade, a feature offered on the F800’s according to the dealer. Also added were a set of Crash Bars in the event gravity ever took over.

Tires look to be 80% and the bike has no cosmetic signs of use, in fact it looks great, almost just off the dealer floor. Ready for what every you have in mind regardless of your size.
