Our 2017 BMW R1200GS LS Exclusive was sold new to one of the most informed enthusiasts I have had the opportunity to meet. When I say that, it is not in jest. The owner of this bike scoured the internet long and hard before making the right choices to make this the perfect platform for his wild adventures to come. A budget was not one of the items he prioritized.

This 2017 GS Low Suspension model, with a 31.5 inch seat height, was factory designed to allow all of the flexibility of the GS to owners who needed that off road capacity without the standard seat height of the GS’s. This was not just done by swapping out the front and rear shocks, it included a specific center and side stand and correct steering geometry that some aftermarket spring systems do not match. Factory designed! And when you are carrying all of your gear and a full tank of fuel, that factory designed stability is a must.

Entire magazines are devoted to the wonders of the water cooled bikes, more power, better shifting, better electronics, better handling, all of the benefits of a complete redesign the R1200GS line of bikes after the twin cam version built to 2013.
