We have had several F800GS’s over the years and I love them for one up riding. They are good on the highway, good enough off road and bullet proof with regular maintance. In 2013 BMW came out with the F700 to replace the F650, basically a simplified F800 with lower suspension, lower seat and more economically sourced components. What remained the same was the basic 800cc twin, a little more under stressed if anything.
