When these came out in limited numbers in 2014, you had waiting lines around the block for these soon to be known as the most customized motorcycle ever outside of Harley-Davidson. A little head scratching later, BMW built more, a lot more and then the many variants that have followed. As you can see, there have been some serious cosmetic changes to the base R9T. K&N Air Filters along with a Competition Werkes Exhaust System were both installed at Hansen’s BMW in Medford. Our customer then opened up the Unit Garage Catalog and began painting his image, ordering their Rear Frame Hoop, Passenger Grip, Turn Signal Adapter, License Plate Mount and Handle Bar Kit. A set of Rhino Mirrors were installed along with a Unit Garage Headlight. A Wilburs R9T Rear Shock was also installed by Hansen’s of Medford. Most of the stock parts were retained and will accompany the bike to its next owner.
