If I could fill the shop with BMW RT’s of all different years and Suzuki SV650’s, we would never sell anything else. Both bikes are workhorses with different purposes, but the best in their individual rider experiences.
Only a BMW owner could understand why, just before selling his beloved motorcycle, spending money on mounting new tires and doing an oil change with in return to make things right. He wanted to make sure that who ever bought his bike would get it in the best condition it could be offered.
The R1100RT was the first of the “Oil-Heads” versions of the new design and was a giant leap for BMW touring. Of course it had Headed Grips and ABS Brakes but it also featured an electronically adjustable Windscreen and Fuel Injection. These were the first of the bikes to have the Telelever Front Suspension designed as an anti-dive fixture and Paralever anti-squat rear suspension. The motorcycle was the first expression of the modern BMW Twin, most of these features being offered still today as standard with obvious refinement over the following models. Our bike comes equipped with a Corbin Saddle, along with the stock seats. There is also a GIVI mount and Tail Trunk
Cosmetically, it is in beautiful order, incredible for the year and few miles showing. The bike is ready to go with fuel added, good weather and aimed north, east or south from Grants Pass. It is a great bike with make more miles and stories ahead of it. Add time and direction and be gone!
