This BMW 2014 K1600 GT is the sporting version of the K1600 GTL that we had in stock and I rode. The GTL is a great package, but the GT version adds the words “fun to ride” to the driving equation that the GTL compromised by being intended more as Highway Inhaler. What an amazing engine, a glorious sound from the exhaust and incredible magic carpet ride at speed. The sense of speed disappears on the interstate, the downside coming from being cited for exceeding speed limits while in this perfect riding cocoon, completely unaware of the attraction you are creating and new friend you are about to meet.

Our bike is decked out with quality aftermarket accessories, more than any of the other K1600’s that have crossed our doorway. None of these is for a farkle effect, all with the purpose of improved and personalized rider comfort. The seat is a custom Corbin Heated Seat with the bars moved back by Adjustable HeliBar adapters. There are a set of Billet Folding Highway Pegs along with BMW Luggage Liners and a BMW detachable soft Travel Tail Bag. There is an accessory Side Stand Foot for dealing with hot asphalt or loose gravel.
The exception to the practical rule is the stunning, $2,700, Akrapovic Exhaust System. Not only as a huge improved visual appearance over the stock system, the aural delivery is intoxicating. The rider will find himself blipping the throttle at any given opportunity, just to hear that tearing silk sound from those twin tail pipes.
We have service records from 677 miles onwards from various BMW dealers. The latest oil change was completed by the owner, the bike absolutely ready for its next destination. Tires appear to have almost no wear on them. The bike is ready to go, just add fuel and a point on the map.
