2008 BMW R1200GS

Hansen’s BMW of Medford sold this 2008 R1200GS with Spoked wheels new to a valued customer who as purchased almost every R1200 model sold since 2006. He loved the twins and has bought and sold each model after experiencing the attributes of the RT, F650 singles and now the GS. The bike came equipped with all of the standard factory parts as well as many accessories Hansen’s could bolt on at the time of delivery.
We sold the bike for our customer in 2011 to a local buyer who added miles while having the bike serviced at Hansen’s along the way. When he returned recently asking about selling the bike, I was impressed because it was almost in the same condition as when it was sold. The only issues I saw are the rear tire is showing about 50% wear and one of the tire pressure monitors (TPM) has taken a powder. It was decided that we would sell the bike at a reasonable figure, allowing the next owner the choice of tire brand installed. As always, a pre-purchase inspection is always welcome at Hansen’s with an appointment.
The bike has the factory ABS and Heated Grips, but also the Hard Aluminum Side Cases and mounts, Engine Protection Bars, Valve cover guards, Extra large side stand pad, Pivot Foot Pegs, Mototech City Tank Bag, GIVI Windshield, Slipstream Deflectors, Throttle Meister Bar Ends and Advanced Mount Cradles which hold the hard wired BMW Zuni GPS and a Valentine Radar Detector.
Pretty much everything you could want for long trips and adventure rides by just adding fuel. All of the services have been completed by the dealer except for the oil change just completed which the owner completed himself. There are no signs of impact or damage, the worse being a couple of scratches to the valve cover guard on one side. The bike runs and looks great, starts instantly and has a known service history at Hansen’s.
