This 1970 Bultaco Lobito MK4 125 was part of a larger collection of motorcycles and parts we purchased earlier this year. The bikes were originally collected by a seller in Washington who made a fair living selling parts from the assembled bikes. The owner of the parts ran into health issues and sold the complete collection to a Bultaco fanatic in Southern Oregon who continued the process over the years. Failing health once again put a damper on his activities and a move to Costa Rica became the solution to the “stress” of living in our neck of the woods. The parts and bikes were put up for sale.

I got an excited call from a local motorcycle Guru and the next thing to happen was our buying everything and moving it to our cargo container here at Automania in Grants Pass.

From the looking at the internet, the bike was produced in 1978. The engine turns over but my assumption is that it has not run for an extended period of time. The tank is very rough but the bike appears to be mostly complete. From past experience, anything I do will only make more work for someone else who knows what they are doing.

This 1970 Bultaco Lobito MK4 125 has matching numbers on the frame and engine. The frame reads B-7400079 and the engine reads M-7400079. Please ask questions and I will do our best to answer them.
