The Spanish Motorcycle Company Ossa made a push into Trails competion by hiring Mick Andrews in 1967. He was to develop the model into what would eventually become the Mick Andrews Replica (MAR). Mick Andrews was the famed English International Motorcycle rider of the 60’s. He was FIM European Trials Champion in 1971 and 1972 (The series became FIM Trial World Championship in 1975) and is a five times winner of the Scottish Six Days Trial.

It was an effective Trials Bike delivering smooth power and sharp handling traits, common characteristics of all Mick Andrews developed bikes for the different companies he rode for. Andrews went on to win 2 European Championships and 3 Scottish Six Day Trials mounted on his Ossa.

Production of the MAR began in 1971 with between 1000-1500 produced over the years and they are considered an excellent Trails bike by all that knew them in the day.

This 1972 Ossa Mick Andrews Replica Plonker was purchased new by the owner in 1972 and has been in his care since. It is in extremely good original condition with spare parts purchased from the local dealer just in case they might be hard to locate in a future time. It was serviced and run about four years ago and then the fuel drained. A copy of the invoice from the service is included in the images.
